About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, with experience owning a P&L and a strong background in financial decision-making. They will be responsible for overseeing all operations and business activities, leading team members across all departments, and partnering closely with the Medical Director to ensure the highest quality patient care and client service.
Key Responsibilities- Directly oversee all operations and business activities
- Lead team members across all departments
- Partner closely with the Medical Director to ensure the highest quality patient care and client service
- Develop and execute short- and long-term plans for growth, including the addition of new services, recruitment of doctors and other key team members, pricing strategies, space optimization, and acquisitions of new equipment
- Review accounts receivable to confirm proper and timely processing
- Responsible for payroll processing on a biweekly basis
- Direct growth activities to support business objectives and plans
- Provide thought leadership, coaching, and mentoring to elevate hospital leadership team-and the entire team-to increase performance and productivity levels
- 5+ years of progressive operational management experience with a record of success, including experience owning a P&L
- MBA or equivalent experience is preferred
- Larger scale healthcare (veterinary or human) experience ideal
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done with enthusiastic participation, including flexible and irregular hours and role descriptions to support the hospital
- Proficient in Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
