As an Industrial Electric Technician, you will be integral to the ongoing success of Silver Hills Bakery, an organization dedicated to promoting healthy living. You will engage in a vibrant and fast-paced production environment, gaining the chance to acquire new skills while collaborating with a team. Your responsibilities will encompass the tasks outlined below, along with any additional duties assigned by your supervisor or their representative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code standards to establish the configuration of industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems, along with associated devices.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
  • Install, inspect, replace, or repair electrical wiring, outlets, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Evaluate electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, and load reactors.
  • Service, repair, test, and install electrical motors, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
  • May involve the installation, maintenance, and calibration of industrial instrumentation and related devices.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of relevant experience in the field.
  • Possession of Red Seal Millwright certification.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
