About the Role

MHAWK HOME SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Installation: Install new electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels, in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting electrical systems, replacing worn-out components, and ensuring all electrical equipment is in good working condition.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot electrical system faults, using diagnostic equipment and techniques to isolate and repair issues.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure electrical systems operate at peak efficiency.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure electrical systems are installed and maintained in accordance with design specifications.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure electrical systems are installed and maintained to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
