About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Dallas Watt Demo Ltd. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to clients
  • Analyze tenders and recommend awards to ensure the best value for our company
  • Set up and monitor cost monitoring and reporting systems to track project expenditures
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and project timelines
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in construction estimating an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including dental, health care, and vision care benefits, as well as a registered retirement savings plan (RRSP).
