Role Overview: As a Senior Environmental Project Leader, you will leverage your expertise in environmental assessment and remediation to drive project success and client satisfaction. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing a diverse portfolio of projects while guiding a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide technical guidance on environmental spill management, site investigations, and remediation initiatives across various regions.
- Engage in project financial management to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Foster leadership and mentorship by supporting the development of junior and intermediate team members.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to accurately capture and address their project needs.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Professional licensure in Ontario or the ability to obtain it within a year of employment.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in environmental consulting, with substantial experience in project management for site assessments and remediation.
- Strong understanding of risk assessments and their relationship to remediation processes.
- Familiarity with various remediation technologies and their operational requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04 and other relevant environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with complex spill responses and site assessments, along with a network of key contractors in the field.
- Proficient in project financial management, including invoicing and budgeting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
