GHD, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Project Engineer to join our North American team. As a key member of our project engineering design and construction team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding projects that drive positive change in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior leadership and mentorship on environmental remediation projects
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project teams to provide environmental advice and support
  • Manage design projects, including budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop and review technical environmental reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Support and mentor junior team members in a learning and collaborative atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Civil or environmental engineering degree
  • Designation considered an asset
  • Experience with developing and implementing strategies for complex remediation and/or risk management
  • Experience in the technical delivery of investigations, designs, and construction support for environmental remediation projects in Canada and the US
  • Strong understanding of Canadian (including Ontario) environmental legislation
  • Understanding of US environmental legislation considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
