GHD is a global leader in professional services, dedicated to solving the world's most pressing environmental challenges. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Project Engineer to join our North American team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario.

About the Role

As a Senior Environmental Project Engineer, you will provide senior leadership and mentorship on environmental remediation projects, working closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality results. Your expertise will be invaluable in managing design projects, including project teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior leadership and mentorship on environmental remediation projects
  • Work within multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver environmental advice and support
  • Manage design projects, including project teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop and review technical environmental reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Support and mentor junior team members in a learning and collaborative atmosphere
Requirements
  • Civil or environmental engineering degree
  • Designation considered an asset
  • Experience with developing and implementing strategies for complex remediation and/or risk management
  • Experience in the technical delivery of investigations, designs, and construction support for environmental remediation projects in Canada and the US
  • Strong understanding of Canadian (including Ontario) environmental legislation
  • Understanding of US environmental legislation considered an asset
