About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer 4 to join our team at Williams Engineering Canada. As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and guidance to our project teams, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, reviewing reports and ensuring technical standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and expertise in electrical engineering, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that our clients' needs are met and our company's reputation is maintained.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage and coordinate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that our company's reputation is maintained and our clients are satisfied.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • P.Eng. Status with appropriate provincial association
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in project management and technical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to apply for a Federal security clearance, if required.
