Williams Engineering Canada is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer 4 to join our team as a Technical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with project managers and team leads to develop and implement project plans, ensuring that technical requirements are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete their tasks effectively.
- Develop and maintain technical standards and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that projects are being executed in accordance with technical requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that their technical needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, ensuring that our team has the latest knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- P.Eng. status with the appropriate provincial association.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in project management and technical leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to apply for a Federal security clearance, if required.
