About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Movati Athletic. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall quality of our clubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with external contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Community College Certificate in Building Environmental Systems or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in operation and maintenance of building systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and BAS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and prior knowledge of pool operations an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
