Job Summary

CH Logistics is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Load and unload goods
    • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
    • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Communication
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
    • Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
  • Security and Safety
    • Driver's validity licence check
