Job Title: Respite Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respite Care Aide to join our team at Forever Living Care Services Ltd. As a Respite Care Aide, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Job Summary:

The Respite Care Aide will work on a temporary basis, providing relief to caregivers and family members who need a break. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities
  • Administer medications and provide first aid as needed
  • Document client progress and report any concerns to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

The Respite Care Aide will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, nursing homes, and community centers. The work will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
