This role, based at our Portage la Prairie facility, reports directly to the Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all production equipment within our manufacturing environment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks and respond promptly to any equipment breakdowns that may occur.
  • Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to effectively diagnose and repair equipment issues.
  • Provide accurate estimations for job requirements and offer valuable feedback on repair cost projections.
  • Actively identify and implement improvements within our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain detailed shift reports and prioritize workflow tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Certified Journeyperson Industrial Millwright License or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have 3-5 years of proven experience working in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with SAP software and systems.
