We are in search of a Senior Anti-Cheat Programmer to become a vital part of our expanding team on a full-time basis. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the fairness of our game, proactively countering cheat developers and ensuring our systems are as resilient as possible. As a key member of our independent studio, your contributions will significantly influence the games we produce.

While relocating to our studio is preferred, we are open to considering remote work for the right candidate within a European timezone. Please indicate your work preference in your application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement anti-cheat solutions for both client and server to mitigate cheating and exploitation
  • Collaborate with game designers and engineers to foster a fair and enjoyable gaming experience
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of game design to apply effective anti-cheat strategies
  • Stay updated with industry developments and emerging technologies to anticipate cheating methods
  • Provide regular assessments and reports on the effectiveness of anti-cheat initiatives
Essential Qualifications:
  • Over 6 years of professional experience in the gaming industry, focusing on anti-cheat or security
  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming
  • Experience in developing and implementing anti-cheat mechanisms
  • In-depth knowledge of cheating techniques and their operational methods
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with existing anti-cheat solutions such as Easy Anti-Cheat
  • Experience with Unreal Engine
  • Proven understanding of the unique challenges related to FPS games and cheating
  • Experience in console game development
