Position Overview

Join our team as a Combined Lab & Radiology Technologist (CLXT) with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Relocation assistance and staff housing may be provided. We are seeking a dedicated Combined Lab & Radiology Technologist (CLXT) to become part of the Clinical Laboratory team.

In your role as a Combined Lab & Radiology Technologist (CLXT) at VCH, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine technical tasks, ensuring quality standards, managing equipment, scheduling patient appointments, and resolving daily challenges in both the radiology and laboratory departments.
  • Adhering to the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards.
Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Completion of a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist/Technician Program.
  • Experience or educational background in transfusion medicine.
  • Eligibility for membership with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science, the Canadian Society of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists, or other relevant professional organizations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Physical capability to perform the duties associated with the position.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Proficiency in operating relevant equipment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information

The work schedule, including days off and work location, may vary based on operational needs and the provisions of the Collective Agreement and applicable laws. Successful candidates may need to undergo a Criminal Records Review Check.
