The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is in search of a committed individual to fill the role of Line Cook 2 at Marcus Restaurant & Lounge. The perfect candidate will exhibit a robust work ethic, integrity, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Role Overview
As a Line Cook 2, your primary responsibility will be to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes based on guest requests while ensuring a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare culinary items according to established recipes and production standards
- Organize the workstation for meal preparation
- Utilize and maintain kitchen equipment
- Label and rotate food storage containers
- Assist in managing food costs
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members
- Perform preparatory tasks for subsequent shifts
Qualifications and Skills
- MAPAQ certification is mandatory
- Proficiency in French is required
- Culinary education or relevant experience is essential
- A minimum of 2 years in a culinary role
- Comprehensive culinary knowledge
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility for various shifts
