Retail Product Manager Job Description

At pt Health, we're seeking a highly skilled Retail Product Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving retail sales initiatives and overseeing retail product programs across our network of rehabilitation clinics in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute an annual retail product sales plan aligned with growth targets
  • Monitor and report on retail performance at a regional and clinic level
  • Analyze product usage to identify opportunities for product mix improvements and top-line revenue growth
  • Collaborate with Procurement and product vendors on product pricing to understand margin across the portfolio
  • Conduct regular clinic visits to gather feedback on product mix, merchandising, sales enablement, and post-purchase opportunities
  • Facilitate product education and training sessions for clinic teams
  • Collaborate with vendors, Procurement, and Clinic Operations on new product opportunities and product mix efficiencies
  • Create and lead retail planograms, liaising between Marketing and Clinic Operations on campaigns
  • Explore improvements to our purchase experience process, including gathering patient feedback on products and communications to support product use and clinical benefit
  • Develop retail management standards to guide current and new clinics on optimizing retail product performance and ensuring national consistency
  • Lead inventory management initiatives
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a product management or retail sales-related role
  • Degree in business, commerce, or a related field (experience in healthcare is required, with clinical product experience in the rehabilitation and wellness space being ideal)
  • Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel knowledge and use of data analytical tools such as PowerBI
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build relationships and collaborate
  • Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to multitask and lead cross-functional project and execution teams
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
  • Experience in building, leading, and facilitating product training/education sessions
