Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences
  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and changes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local attractions and activities
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of room assignments, reservations, and guest interactions
  • Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff members
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Work Environment

As a Hotel Front Desk Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often standing for extended periods and interacting with guests and staff members. You will be required to work a 35-hour week, with a permanent work term.

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, and you will be expected to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in this language.
