Main Responsibilities- Corporate Culture: Collaborate with the HR Team to foster and maintain our connected corporate culture, emphasizing our values of We Care, We Trust, and We Connect.
- Human Resources Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing our comprehensive HR strategy, aligning with our business objectives and collaborating closely with senior leaders.
- Training and Development: Drive training strategies for all Associates, focusing on best practices, content, and agile delivery methods to enhance performance and productivity.
- DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging): Continuously enhance our commitment to DEIB, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Talent Management: Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate, cultivate, maintain, and acquire the necessary talent to meet our organization's needs, providing guidance and coaching on performance management initiatives.
- Succession Planning: Lead, coach, and support the team to provide growth opportunities for high-potential individual contributors and people leaders, implementing succession plans to ensure a smooth transition in key roles.
- Alignment and Compliance: Establish and implement a consistent approach to employment records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and developing HR programs and policies that meet Canadian employment standards.
- Recruitment and Retention: Develop exceptional sourcing, recruitment, recognition, onboarding, and retention strategies for corporate office Associates and Tax Professionals, ensuring outstanding customer experience.
- Communication: Establish effective communication channels from the HR department to the entire organization, ensuring consistent and transparent messaging.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Human Resources, Adult Education, or a similar discipline, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in various HR areas, with at least 10 years in people management and agile learning delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with strategic business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to represent the company in legal matters, specifically in Quebec and Ontario.
- Excellent English and French verbal and written communications skills.
- Possesses strong personal leadership qualities and demonstrates a solid understanding of business operations.
- Forward-thinking mindset and the ability to positively influence and drive organizational change.
- Capable of partnering with and influencing senior leaders, as well as building relationships with Associates at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Committed to delivering excellent HR services and operational excellence.
