About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Worker to join our team at Lakeland Animal Care Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing and grooming animals to ensure their cleanliness and comfort
  • Preparing and serving food and water to meet the nutritional needs of our furry friends
  • Cleaning and disinfecting enclosures, cages, and other areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Monitoring and recording the health and well-being of animals in our care
  • Providing basic care and handling of animals, including nail trimming and ear cleaning
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in animal care
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
