About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team at Health and Rehab Research Inc. As a Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medications and performing vital signs.
  • Support with Mobility and Transfers: Safely transfer patients from wheelchairs to beds, toilets, and other locations, and assist with walking and mobility exercises.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, equipment, and surfaces, and maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in Team Efforts: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift, bend, and move patients safely.
