About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Manager to join our team at Woodward's Oil Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for information systems to ensure efficient and secure operations.
  • Project Management: Authorize the development of specifications for products or services, and oversee the coordination and review of projects and programs.
  • Client Engagement: Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, and maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, and lead a team of IT professionals to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: Experience in IT operations, project management, and client engagement is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including data analysis and interpretation, desktop applications, development of computer applications, networking hardware and software, and wireless networks.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and a strong attention to detail.
