About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 45006 Yukon Inc. as a Building Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse, make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Cleaning and Snow Removal: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, and ensure the overall cleanliness of the facilities.
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
