Job Title: Big Data Lake Hadoop Cloudera Expert

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Big Data Lake Hadoop Cloudera Expert to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a minimum of 7 years of work experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience in big data Hadoop Cloudera. They will also have experience in SDLC models, including waterfall and agile, and a minimum of 2 years of local North American work experience.

The Big Data Lake Hadoop Cloudera Expert will be responsible for directing the development of complex artifacts for digital media, reviewing existing reference data CDP cluster architecture setup, and identifying and prioritizing findings for the most positive impact and value for money. They will also set up CDP DR for reference data application and coordinate multiple artifacts for varying disciplines in complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs development of complex artifacts for digital media
  • Reviews existing reference data CDP cluster architecture setup
  • Identifies and prioritizes findings for the most positive impact and value for money
  • Sets up CDP DR for reference data application
  • Coordinates multiple artifacts for varying disciplines in complex situations
Requirements:
  • Computer science or similar education background
  • 7+ years total work experience
  • 5+ years hands-on development experience in big data Hadoop Cloudera
  • 5+ years' experience in SDLC models (waterfall, and agile)
  • Must have 2+ years local North American work experience
  • 2+ years java coding experience
  • 2+ years dev ops experience (Git, Jenkins, maven)
Preferred Skills:
  • Capital markets work experience
  • Reference data (securities, trading books, client data, etc.)
  • Additional desired Big Data skills: Spark, Hive, Pyspark, Scala, YARN
Assignment Details:
