Are you passionate about providing exceptional nursing care? We are in search of a committed Registered Nurse who is enthusiastic about delivering empathetic patient support to become a part of our organization at Northern Health Authority.

In alignment with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives of Northern Health, the Nurse operates in accordance with the professional practice standards and ethical guidelines as defined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Under the general oversight of the Program Lead or their delegate, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team, the Nurse will deliver direct care to individuals facing addictions, mental health challenges, and/or complex behavioral issues.

Through thorough assessments, intervention planning, monitoring, individual and group therapy, and consultation, the Nurse contributes to and aids in the efficient patient flow for those assessed and awaiting further evaluation, as well as assists with patient admissions and transfers to ensure timely access to services and bed allocation.


Work Schedule: Rotating shifts including Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, and 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in an acute mental health setting or equivalent experience in related fields.
