About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are clean and sanitized at all times.
    • Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, and pans, as well as other kitchen items.
  • Food Preparation
    • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
    • Portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Food Service
    • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Handle and store cleaning products.
    • Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting
    • Willing to relocate to support the needs of the pub.
Work Environment

As a member of our kitchen team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
