Position Overview:

The role involves conducting comprehensive sales performance evaluations and market analyses, interpreting data trends, and formulating business cases along with financial justifications to support forecasting and business development initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and management is essential to drive data-informed decisions and create impactful presentations that highlight key factors influencing commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proficient working knowledge of IQVIA applications and databases (including Imsight, Xponent, Compuscript, GPM, CD&H, Pharmastats, IMAM).
  2. Deliver clear and actionable metrics for first-line sales managers, product managers, and directors.
  3. Execute financial and supply-demand product forecasts for various business units as part of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  4. Monitor product portfolio performance and provide insights into variances.
  5. Address ad hoc inquiries from commercial operations regarding market and competitive landscapes.
  6. Support and validate monthly reporting processes by executing queries, maintaining documentation, and participating in monthly business reviews for respective product portfolios.
  7. Oversee the market definition process and ensure data validation prior to publication in reporting tools.
  8. Identify and manage market research initiatives in collaboration with brand managers, including methodology development, supplier selection, and questionnaire design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  2. Strategic thinking with a tactical approach to drive results.
  3. Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  4. Ability to manipulate data from IQVIA and other sources to generate meaningful analyses.
  5. Independent thinking and strong analytical skills to address business challenges.
  6. Capacity to work autonomously under pressure, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective leadership.
  7. Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional design teams.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with team members at all organizational levels.
  9. Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and time management abilities.
  10. Bilingual proficiency is essential (strong command of both English and French, with high proficiency in written communication).
  11. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality control standards.
  12. Capability to provide estimates to support timelines and deliverables.
  13. Experience in market research is a plus.

Technical Proficiencies:

  1. Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  2. Experience with Forecast BI Systems.

Preferred Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Over 7 years of relevant work experience.
