We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Refinishing Technician Apprentice to join our team at Craftsman Collision in BC. As a leading provider of auto body repair services, we offer a competitive starting wage of $20-$24 per hour for new apprentices.
As part of our comprehensive mentorship program, we provide apprentices with a start-up tool kit from the company as a gift upon successfully completing the Red Seal certification and one additional year of employment.
Craftsman Collision is a close-knit family that values the people we work with. We are committed to excellence and are seeking individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman technicians in any and all duties.
- Document in progress repairs, including photo documentation.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Mix paints and primers to exact specifications.
- Assist in cleaning and polishing painted surfaces and imperfections to meet Craftsman standards.
- Review work orders.
- Maintain shop equipment and facility.
Requirements:
- Have either completed pre-apprentice training in collision repair or be in their first or second year of apprenticeship.
- Be comfortable in a team-oriented environment.
- Have a strong work ethic, integrity, and ambition to succeed.
- Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
