Job Title: Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Choquette CKS, a leading provider of commercial kitchen equipment service in eastern Canada.

About the Role:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing commercial cooking equipment, gas, steam, and electric food equipment, including coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Working collaboratively with our team to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and best practices
Requirements:
  • Education in appliance service or a related field is preferred
  • Valid trade license (G3, G2, G1, 313A, Red Seal) is a strong asset but not required
  • Related trade experience is an asset (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabricating, mover, basic construction, etc.)
  • Experience working in the foodservice industry is preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven
