Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Chef to oversee our culinary operations. This role involves managing kitchen staff and ensuring high-quality food preparation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other relevant data.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
  • Supervise the activities of chefs, cooks, and kitchen workers.
  • Create innovative recipes and menu items.
  • Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of food for regular and special occasions.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Consult with clients regarding event catering and specialty functions.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants.
  • Ensure that food meets quality standards and dietary requirements.
  • Recruit, hire, and train kitchen staff.
Supervision

Supervise a team of 1 to 2 kitchen staff members.
