Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at MKD ELECTRICAL. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and technical expertise are paramount.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a College or CEGEP program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the construction and evaluation of prototypes.
  • Support the design, development, and testing phases of projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, specifications, and documentation.
  • Draft technical specifications for various projects.
  • Help in the inspection, testing, and adjustment of electronic components.
  • Calibrate and maintain electronic instruments and equipment.
  • Facilitate safety training sessions for team members.
  • Gather and analyze operational or experimental data.
  • Conduct applied research in electrical and electronic engineering and physics.
  • Supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical systems.
  • Utilize specialized testing equipment to assess the performance of electrical components and systems.
  • Complete work orders and maintain testing and maintenance records.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and demanding atmosphere.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical requirements include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the capacity to handle heavy loads.
