About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at Avelar Insurance & Financial Services Inc as an Insurance Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service and Sales: Establish and maintain strong relationships with our clients, providing personalized service and sales support to meet their insurance needs.
  • Policy Administration: Work with clients to understand their insurance requirements, and provide guidance on policy options and coverage.
  • Policy Changes and Renewals: Assist clients with policy changes and renewals, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings, providing clear and concise information on policy details and changes.
Requirements
  • Insurance Experience: Previous experience in insurance sales or customer service is required.
  • License Requirements: A Property and Casualty license (OTL) is preferred, or a RIBO license can be converted to OTL.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
