We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Island Health. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree from an accredited school of Speech Pathology and Audiology, and current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHPBC).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment programs for children with multiple disabilities and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with parents, other professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Train and supervise others to deliver SLP programs.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Utilize initiative and good professional judgment to address the needs of children and families.
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
- Current registration with CSHHPBC.
- Two years of experience working with children with multiple disabilities and communication disorders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
