Oversee the service and advisory team to foster a positive experience for both customers and colleagues.

Actively enhance the Bank's reputation within the community by engaging in leadership roles in local business groups, initiatives, and fundraising activities.

Take ownership of intricate daily branch administrative responsibilities, particularly concerning mutual funds, RESL, and other specific compliance-related matters.

Convey national, regional, and/or district strategies to the team, ensuring that branch strategies align with the overall objectives of the Bank.

Spearhead the formulation and execution of service and advisory strategies to meet business goals and branch targets.
Plan and implement business development initiatives, assess outcomes, and modify strategies as necessary.
Execute the annual business plan to achieve results consistent with business strategies.
Manage the overall budget, revenue, and expenditures, fulfilling business objectives while enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Mentor and develop colleagues to proactively recognize customer needs for products and services, delivering on business service and advisory strategies, and referring partners as needed.

Attain business objectives for Operational Excellence.
Ensure adherence to bank operating policies and procedures among colleagues.

Safeguard the organization's interests by identifying and managing risks, escalating non-standard, high-risk transactions/activities as required.

Stay informed about emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, assessing their potential impacts.
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes aligned with risk appetite.
Assume responsibility for minimizing operational and regulatory risks by adhering to the Bank and industry Code of Conduct.

Collaborate with other business lines, including Wealth and Business Banking, to stay updated on market trends, supporting referrals across business lines through ongoing training and coaching for branch colleagues.

Senior colleagues may serve as leaders in delivering One TD services to customers, demonstrating cohesive partnerships for business planning and community engagement.

Responsible for managing the overall team, providing both leadership and guidance.

Enhance team expertise to align with business and enterprise demands; provide continuous feedback and performance evaluations, coach and develop colleagues, and ensure performance management activities are executed for all team members.

Lead the establishment of performance objectives for the team; monitor, track, and effectively address and/or reward performance promptly.

Ensure compliance with all human resources policies, procedures, and conduct guidelines, escalating issues to the appropriate partners to manage colleague risks.

Foster an environment where the team feels comfortable escalating business challenges; recruit to ensure a diverse and qualified workforce to meet business objectives.

Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and externally.

Senior colleagues may take on leadership roles in the District and/or Region for change management, performance measures, and talent pipeline development.

Manage a small-sized branch/team (based on TD Bank branch levelling criteria).

Oversee and lead a small and/or complex branch while nurturing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve career aspirations, support project success, and realize business outcomes.

Possess expert knowledge of the business.

Requires in-depth process management expertise and comprehensive understanding of the risk profile for supported team processes, with strong capabilities in identifying, tracking, and resolving gaps.

Manage and direct the overall discipline and strategy for the branch while aligning with enterprise best practices.
Oversee team management, requiring workforce decisions on acceptable risk levels ranging from low to high potential (loss/reputational).
Undergraduate degree and/or
~Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) course.
