We operate 12 hospitals and more than 100 medical facilities, health care centers, clinics, and offices throughout the province.
Job SummaryWe are seeking skilled trades professionals to join our team as Horizon Support Services Specialists.
As a Horizon Support Services Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our healthcare services, ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on healthcare facilities and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance-related issues
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans
- Conduct quality control checks on maintenance work
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Provincial Certificate of Qualification, Power Engineer license, or Red Seal designation in one of the following trades: Power Engineer, Carpenter, Electrician, Industrial Mechanic, Plumber, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician, or Electronics Engineering Technologist
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
