Position Overview

The role of the Agricultural Operations Supervisor involves overseeing various farm activities and ensuring the efficient operation of agricultural practices.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a supervisory role within a farming environment.
Work Environment

This position is primarily conducted outdoors in a rural setting, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of general farm workers and harvesting teams.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and bio-security measures.
  • Maintain quality control standards and production documentation.
  • Supervise crop management and related agricultural operations.
  • Keep accurate work records and logs.
  • Perform general farming duties as required.
Team Leadership

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

This role focuses on the cultivation of blueberries.
