Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Labourer to join our team at JBS Foods Ontario Inc. in a meat processing and packing plant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure food safety and handling practices are followed at all times.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as required.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, and check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination required.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment and handle odours.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
