Family Medicine Physician

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness in Annapolis County.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to ensure the best possible health outcomes
- Manage workload and practice to meet the needs of the community
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuum of care
- Provide care coordination and community-based care services
- Build capacity within the first two years of practice
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Nova Scotia Health Authority
- Work towards same-day or next-day access for the practice population
- Collaborate with other team members to best suit the community's health needs
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) to record patient details
- Full-time
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
