Job Title: Personal Support Worker

VON Canada is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our Assisted Living Program in London Middlesex-Elgin.

About the Role:

As a PSW, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Your duties will include:

  • Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as grooming and dressing
  • Preparing meals and light household duties
  • Helping with mobility and transfers
  • Monitoring and maintaining household safety
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Services Worker (DSW) or Home Support Worker (Level I, II, III) or Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate
  • Current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Criminal Records Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check
