We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Children and Youth Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of programs and services that support the well-being and success of children and youth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Children and Youth Services team, ensuring that programs and services are delivered in accordance with our agency's vision, mission, and values.
- Program Development: Develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of children and youth, including curriculum development and training for staff.
- Staff Management: Lead, develop, and manage a team of staff, including hiring, assessing staffing needs, and ensuring that staff resources are managed effectively.
- Financial Management: Plan and develop annual operating budgets, manage expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Culturally Safe and Trauma-Informed Practice: Promote a culturally safe and trauma-informed work environment, ensuring that staff are equipped to provide services that are responsive to the needs of children and youth.
- Education: Degree in a social services or human services discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role, including experience in program development, staff management, and financial management.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Competitive Salary: $75,109.00 plus benefits and RRSP.
