Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our teams and external clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to teams and external clients via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including networking, end-user, and other hardware problems.
- Manage routine service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support the business in data extraction and manipulation from multiple systems to meet reporting needs.
- Assess risks associated with change, review change requests, and communicate to stakeholders.
- Follow onboarding and offboarding procedures for new hires, rolling out hardware, access rights, and licenses.
- Other duties may be assigned to contribute to the employer's operational and financial success.
Requirements
- University degree or college equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information technology.
- Strong cabling and hardware installation experience (IP Cameras, Server Rack appliances).
- 3 - 5 years of experience in an IT environment.
- Excellent writing skills and effective communication.
- Possess leading-edge technical knowledge in cloud, networking, hardware, and software.
- Experience with Windows environment, O365, Azure, and Win10/11 operating systems.
- Strong business acumen; excellent understanding of business context and mode of operations.
- Ability to identify, formalize, and problem solve business needs.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Strong skills in organization, time management, and collaboration.
- Able to work quickly and under tight delivery deadlines with a focus on details.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Experience with retail IT requirements will be considered an asset.
