Senior Processing Analyst

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for securities processing? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're seeking a Senior Processing Analyst to join our team at The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and manage Mandatory Corporate action/reorganization events to ensure timely and accurate payment to participant accounts.
- Coordinate with participants, depositary/transfer agents, issuers, lawyers, underwriters, and paying agents to maintain effective coordination of submission and payment processes.
- Review and verify information related to corporate events, including bulletin, event, submission dates, and pay dates.
- Submit letters of transmittal/instructions and securities to transfer agents in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of terms.
- Follow up with transfer agents, depository agents, paying agents, DTCC, and issuers to confirm/verify details of payment.
- Post-secondary education in commerce or business administration.
- 3+ years of progressive operational/business experience in the securities financial industry.
- Experience in reorganizations/corporate action and entitlement processing functions is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent analytical/accounting skills to accurately calculate and determine complex security features.
- Able to work collectively within a team environment to maintain customer focus and achieve desired business results.
