Dental Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team at DentalZen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dental office, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision
- Oversee staffing and ensure that each staff member understands their role, policies, and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between associates and patients, responding to conflicts and providing conflict resolution.
- Identify and recognize employees with career development opportunities, communicating with HR.
- Assist the Office Manager in maintaining staff schedules, ensuring coverage and reducing overtime.
- Manage call handling, ensuring effective communication and training where needed.
- Participate in recruitment, identify staffing needs, and facilitate onboarding and training.
- Operational Supervision
- Assist the Regional Office Manager in overseeing production and expenditure.
- Open and close the office, ensuring inventory control and cost reductions.
- Complete administrative functions, including bank deposits, invoice processing, and patient data management.
- Maintain high professionalism, motivate staff, and ensure quality assurance in dental procedures, customer service, and health standards.
- Represent the office at corporate and management meetings, providing reports as necessary.
- Ensure the clinic is stocked and operational, communicating needs to the Regional Office Manager.
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and clean environment.
- Patient Experience
- Set the standard for patient communication, responding efficiently and establishing relationships.
- Manage patient scheduling and flow, resolving issues in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Presents treatment plans to patients, educates them, and ensures staff members do the same.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental office management or a related field.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
