About the Role

The Distributor Service Representative will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and support to customers and staff members at ECCO Supply™. This position will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and instruction on various equipment brands, ensuring seamless installation, service, and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers via phone, email, and in-person, troubleshooting operational problems and evaluating new technologies.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with ECCO employees and vendors to develop training sessions, identify skills gaps, and create training curriculum, tests, and assignments.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers and vendors, identify areas for improvement, and process warranties to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge and Education: Continuously develop and upgrade education and product knowledge, including features, benefits, warranties, and limitations, to efficiently service customers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, lead people, and get results through others, while maintaining a high level of integrity and a sense of urgency.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the building materials industry or an equivalent combination of two years of HVAC sales, education, training, and experience.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate technical product information to customers and ECCO employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Work with a high degree of integrity and a sense of urgency.
  • Troubleshooting skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • A current driver's License and clean driving abstract.
