Job Summary:

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a Lunch Hour Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period at Elementary and Secondary Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • 18 years of age or over;
    • Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada
  • Desirable Assets:
    • Experience working with children
    • Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties;
    • Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with students, parents, staff and the general public;
    • Ability to work as a team player;
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Hourly Rate: $27.46 per hour
    • Location: Elementary and Secondary Schools
    • Hours of Work: 1 hour per week, Friday only
    • Weeks/Year: Approx. 41 weeks/year
