Position Overview - Investment Funds Specialist

Role Impact on the Organization
The Investment Funds Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Systematic Plans and Non-Financial Updates functions within the department. Key responsibilities include reviewing and submitting Systematic Plan instructions to fund companies, following up on Non-Financial updates submitted through XML, and processing Internal Transfer requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding time management abilities and meticulous attention to detail due to the time-sensitive nature of these tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit and monitor mutual fund systematic plan requests with fund companies;
- Facilitate internal transfers of mutual fund positions utilizing FundSERV;
- Manually process internal transfer requests to mutual fund providers;
- Submit demographic information for advisors and clients to mutual fund companies;
- Review and forward all manual Segregated Fund and Offbook Account applications for processing;
- Provide assistance and backup support to team members as required.

Qualifications
- Basic understanding of investment principles, practices, and procedures in the securities sector;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software applications;
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and prioritization skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards and attention to detail;
- Exhibit advanced communication skills in face-to-face, email, videoconferencing, and telephone interactions;

- Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
