Nurse Care Specialist

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional nursing care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Implement protocols to prevent accidents, ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and controlled use of medications and narcotics, and maintain accurate records of medication administration and supply management.
- Communicate Effectively: Provide clear and compassionate communication to residents, families, and colleagues, and maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care plans.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent, and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Skills and Experience: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, basic computer proficiency, valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing the operation of the Nursing Home and nursing department.
- Personal Qualities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service.
