Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Spectrum Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-focused, safe, and holistic nursing care in a clinical setting.
- Ensure that nursing care provided to the patient is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomes.
- Continually assess, anticipate, identify, and respond to new and changing needs of patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of community nursing experience.
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Ability to work independently in managing a caseload.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required (Additional language skills considered an asset).
- Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care is an asset.
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Physical ability to perform the day-to-day duties described in the duties and responsibilities.
- Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and ability to learn proprietary software.
