About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sourcing strategy for our commodities, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and driving value for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategy: Define and manage the overall strategy (cost, quality, and delivery performance) of owned commodities and suppliers, including the identification and execution of long-term projects to achieve sustainable performance results.
  • Market Analysis and Supplier Selection: Understand the relevant market landscape as well as our internal production needs. Analyze value stream spend data and evaluate margin expansion and value creation.
  • Strategic Planning and Risk Management: Execute a commodity strategy that limits exposure to risk and liability through strategic planning.
  • Contract Management and Performance Oversight: Oversee and manage contract performance, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost compliance.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop strong partnerships with assigned suppliers and take proactive measures to work with other teams to manage/reduce the total cost.
  • Cost Reduction and Improvement Projects: Identify and manage cost reduction and improvement projects, driving value for our organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Purchasing, Administration/Commerce, Mechanical Engineering, and/or similar field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Skills: Strong strategic and negotiation skills, strong analytical data skills, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with a strong understanding of business terminology and concepts.
