Project Manager I

As a Project Manager I at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), you will play a key role in leading and coordinating all aspects of current projects undertaken by the department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as identified in the project plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish detailed project charters, plans, and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables.
  • Execute project plans according to project methodologies, ensuring successful and coordinated completion of project components.
  • Track project progress according to project plan and identified metrics, monitoring and reporting on the status of projects and major barriers encountered.
  • Provide leadership by giving advice or guidance in situations that require interpretation and judgment.
Requirements:
  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
  • Project Management Professional designation considered an asset.
